The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday the deaths of ten Palestinians due to starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, amid the stifling Israeli blockade and the denial of humanitarian aid entry, as part of a systematic policy of starvation as part of the ongoing war of genocide.
The ministry stated in a brief statement that “hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded ten new deaths due to starvation and malnutrition,” bringing the total number of deaths resulting from hunger to 111 since the beginning of the war, most of them children and the elderly, according to Agence France-Presse.
This number comes one day after the ministry announced the deaths of 15 Palestinians, including four children, in the previous 24 hours, reflecting the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation amid food insecurity and a lack of basic healthcare.
