The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Thursday, that the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 61,258 martyrs and 152,045 wounded since October 7, 2023.
This came in a statement issued by the Ministry regarding the daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing genocide. It indicated that 100 martyrs and 603 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health stated that the death toll of starving “livelihood” victims who were killed by Israeli gunfire near alleged humanitarian aid distribution points has risen to 1,706 martyrs and more than 12,030 wounded. Hospitals received 51 martyrs and 230 wounded in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health reported that the death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025, has reached 9,752 martyrs and 40,004 wounded, bringing the death toll since October 7, 2023, to 213,303 martyrs and wounded.
The Ministry of Health indicated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded four new deaths due to starvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims of Israeli starvation and malnutrition to 197 martyrs, including 96 children.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense crews.
