The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, said on Monday that the permanent members of the UN Security Council have a responsibility to stop the war in the Gaza Strip.
This comes in response to the Israeli army’s bombing of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of more than 20 people, including journalists, paramedics, and civil defense personnel.
She added that the international community must refrain from providing Israel with weapons, noting that all Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip are documented.
