The Yemeni Armed Forces announce the targeting of an Israeli ship north of the Red Sea

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had targeted an Israeli ship north of the Red Sea with a ballistic missile.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

A statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces said that the Navy carried out a military operation targeting the Israeli oil tanker “SCARLET RAY” in the northern Red Sea with a ballistic missile, and that the operation resulted in a direct hit on the ship, by the grace of God.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed their continued support for the Palestinian people by preventing Israeli navigation or navigation to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red and Arab Seas, as well as carrying out more military operations against Israeli enemy targets in occupied Palestine, and that these operations will only stop with the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the British Maritime Trade Authority announced that it had received a report of a ship being targeted in the Red Sea, 40 nautical miles southwest of the Saudi city of Yanbu.

The ship, “SCARLET RAY,” belongs to the Israeli company Eastern Pacific Shipping, owned by Israeli businessman Eidan Ofer, and was transporting oil products from the Saudi port of Yanbu to Israel when it was targeted.
