Yemeni forces deny Israeli airstrikes targeted missile launchers

On Wednesday evening, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree denied Israeli claims that missile launch pads had been targeted, confirming that the airstrikes had targeted purely civilian targets and resulted in martyrs.

Brigadier General Saree said in a tweet on the “X” platform, “The Yemeni Armed Forces deny the Israeli enemy’s claims of targeting missile launch pads,” confirming that the strikes “hit purely civilian targets, including the 26 September and Yemen newspapers.”

The spokesman added that the attacks resulted in “martyrs and wounded among journalists, citizens, and passersby,” warning that “this brutal aggression will not pass without response and punishment.”
