The Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office sounds the alarm about the conditions of prisoners in occupation prisons

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office reported in an urgent statement that what is happening in Israeli occupation prisons is a systematic policy of oppression and deliberate medical neglect of prisoners, noting that these practices constitute a flagrant violation of human rights.

The office warned of the serious deterioration in the health of life prisoner Bilal Barghouti, who is being held in harsh conditions in Gilboa prison, holding the occupation fully responsible for his life and considering what he is being subjected to represents a slow murder and systematic torture.

The office also affirmed that the ongoing violations against prisoners reflect a systematic policy by the occupation, calling on the international community to take immediate action to guarantee the rights and lives of prisoners.
