The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital and the Eye Hospital were out of service due to the ongoing Israeli targeting of the hospitals’ surroundings, along with the destruction of a medical relief center in Gaza City.
The Ministry explained in a statement that the occupation is deliberately and systematically targeting the health services system in the Gaza Strip, as part of its ongoing policy of genocide against the population of the Strip.
It added that all roads leading to the hospitals are either destroyed or unsafe, making it extremely difficult for patients to reach them.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza called on the relevant international bodies to urgently intervene and provide protection for health facilities and medical personnel working in Gaza.
