Gaza Health: Hospitals will only have hours left before they stop operating

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Munir al-Barash, confirmed that a mass death toll would occur for patients, as hospitals are only hours away from stopping their services. He said that hospitals have not received fuel and are being bombed by Israel.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, al-Barash called for the immediate rescue of patients and the entry of fuel so that hospitals do not cease to provide services.

He described the situation of hospitals in Gaza as extremely tragic, mentioning the Shifa Medical Complex, the Ahli Hospital, the Public Service Hospital, and the Friends of the Patients Hospital, among others. He confirmed that some services at Shifa Hospital, the largest in the Strip, have ceased operations due to a lack of fuel.

He revealed that the Rantisi Hospital for Children and the Eye Hospital were completely out of service yesterday, and the Israeli occupation army also bombed the Hamad Rehabilitation Hospital and the Medical Relief Health Center in central Gaza City.

He also stated that the Israeli occupation is terrorizing health workers, and everyone now remembers what happened previously at Shifa Hospital, when the Israeli occupation army burned it and killed doctors.

Meanwhile, the Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that they are unable to provide services to patients arriving at hospitals due to fuel and supplies shortages and a shortage of medical personnel.

He revealed that they have evacuated some patients to hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip, particularly those in intensive care, but under extremely difficult conditions. They are being transported in dilapidated vehicles due to the lack of fuel in ambulances. He revealed that more than 100 patients in intensive care units have been unable to be evacuated.
