The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip called on the international community and the United Nations to provide immediate protection for health facilities in Gaza City.
He revealed that the health system is on its last legs, and saving what remains may fail with the destruction of hospitals.
In a related context, and in light of the escalating humanitarian situation in Gaza, Amjad Shawa, Director of the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network, stressed on Tuesday the urgent need to provide international protection for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, especially in displacement areas, in addition to increasing humanitarian aid entering the Strip.
