UNRWA: 90% of the agency’s schools in the Gaza Strip have been bombed and destroyed

UNRWA confirmed that 90% of the agency’s schools in the Gaza Strip were bombed and destroyed.

Enas Hamdan, UNRWA’s Media Director in the Gaza Strip, said, “When we consider the atrocities that have occurred in the Gaza war over the past two years, which unfortunately continue with the weapon of starvation and the use of humanitarian aid, which should be provided continuously and without interruption to preserve the dignity of the population, we must be able to do so.”

She added, during an interview on Cairo News, that the Strip has officially reached the stage of famine, pointing out that the abolition of aid and food distribution centers, which were run by United Nations organizations, led by UNRWA, and their replacement with what are known as death traps, has witnessed thousands of victims who lost their lives in the pursuit of food.
