The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip called for an emergency response to bring in essential medical supplies.
In a press statement received by Quds Press on Sunday, the ministry said, “The health and humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip require an emergency response to bring in essential medical supplies.”
It noted that “thousands of patients and wounded are in urgent need of qualified healthcare facilities.”
It stressed that “the suspension of specialized and diagnostic services exacerbates the health situation and hinders complex surgical interventions.”
It emphasized that “strengthening the remaining operating hospitals in the Gaza Strip is a top priority and cannot wait any longer.”
