The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that the expansion of aid in the Gaza Strip is in full swing, and has already made some progress. Tom Fletcher, the United Nations Emergency Relief Coordinator, has allocated an additional $11 million to support the immediate expansion of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip before winter. However, Fletcher warned that it could not continue to provide the necessary assistance to those who depended on it, if the Fund did not receive new contributions.
