The West Bank after the ceasefire in Gaza…between silent escalation or an open front

So far, the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has held despite Israeli violations. This regional agreement has not addressed the West Bank, where Israeli escalation continues at the same pace, with an increase in attacks by settlers supported by the occupation army across the West Bank. The Israeli army, accompanied by two bulldozers, stormed the city of Tubas, north of the occupied West Bank, on Saturday evening.

Palestine TV reported that “a large force of the occupation army is storming the city of Tubas,” and also published video clips of the raid.

Later, the same source announced “the arrival of additional reinforcements accompanied by two bulldozers (…) and the launch of a military operation in the city of Tubas,” without providing any immediate details on the results of the raid.
