The Ministry stated that the death toll since the Israeli occupation resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18 has risen to 13,486 martyrs and 57,389 wounded.
The Ministry of Health also announced that the number of Palestinians who have died as a result of famine and malnutrition resulting from the Israeli starvation policy has risen to 459, including 154 children, since October 7, 2023. It noted that two new deaths of children were recorded in the past 24 hours.
The death toll since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared famine in Gaza last August has reached 181, including 39 children, according to the statement.
