A member of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, Mohammed Al-Frah, accused Saudi Arabia of evading the peace obligations agreed upon with the Yemeni Republic, confirming that it made Yemen’s supportive stance for Gaza a pretext to freeze the political process.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
In a post published on the X platform, Al-Frah said that Riyadh is attempting to barter the implementation of peace terms for a halt to the support operations carried out by Sana’a in support of the Palestinian resistance, considering this condition reflects clear American directives aimed at isolating Yemen from the resistance equation in the region.
He indicated that the current Saudi behavior reveals a lack of seriousness in ending the war, wondering what the next excuse for stalling the Yemeni file would be if the aggression on Gaza stops, hinting that procrastination has become a fixed approach for Riyadh to avoid the agreed-upon commitments.
Al-Frah’s statement comes amidst a political stalemate looming over the peace negotiations after Saudi Arabia, according to Yemeni sources, retreated from implementing key terms, most notably the disbursement of salaries and the lifting of the siege on ports and airports, which returns the crisis to square one, as observers confirm.
