The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 104 martyrs in the past 24 hours, including 46 children and 20 women, in addition to 253 wounded, including 78 children and 84 women, as a result of the latest Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the continued bombardment and a shortage of equipment.
It added that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11 has risen to 211, while the number of wounded has reached 597, and 482 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the cumulative number of martyrs has reached 68,643, and the number of wounded has reached 170,655, including tens of thousands of children and women.
The ministry indicated that 75 bodies out of the 195 bodies previously handed over by the occupation authorities have been identified.
