The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the receipt of 15 bodies of Palestinians released by the Israeli occupation today, as part of the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip.
Palestinian media outlets quoted the Ministry as saying that the 15 bodies were received through the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Ministry noted that 84 of the 285 bodies released by the occupation so far have been identified.
The Ministry confirmed that its medical teams are continuing to handle the bodies according to established medical procedures and protocols, in preparation for completing the examination, documentation, and handover to the families.
