The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,483, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.
The ministry explained that the number of injuries has risen to 170,706 since the start of the offensive, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams.
It stated that the bodies of 17 martyrs (2 newly identified martyrs and 15 recovered martyrs) and 3 wounded individuals arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 72 hours.
The total number of martyrs and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2023, has reached 266 martyrs and 635 wounded, with 548 bodies recovered.
