Human rights organization reveals “serious violations” in the prisons of forces loyal to the coalition in Yemen

The “Al-Rased Human Rights Foundation” uncovered instances of torture and enforced disappearance in illegal detention centers affiliated with factions loyal to the Saudi-Emirati coalition in Yemen, with direct accusations against leading figures being behind these violations.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The head of the Foundation, Anis Al-Shareek, confirmed in a post on “Facebook” the monitoring of “serious transgressions and violations” in the “Criminal Investigation” prisons in the city of Aden, indicating that they “target the abducted and detainees during night interrogations.”

Al-Shareek also reported similar violations in the prisons of the West Coast under factions funded by the UAE, clarifying that what happens there includes “torture and enforced disappearance.”

The head of the Foundation accused “Tariq Saleh” and his brother “Ammar” of responsibility for these violations and the concealment of many crimes, pointing out that the two brothers have managed to subject the West Coast to a “frightening and unprecedented security grip.”

Al-Shareek called on the coalition-aligned authorities in Aden to “put an end to these violations and hold the perpetrators accountable” at a time when many areas under the control of the coalition-aligned forces are witnessing an escalation in the pace of violations against detainees.
