UNRWA: We need a daily flow of aid, but Israel is obstructing it

Amid the escalating violence, the humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating as the Israeli occupation continues to obstruct the entry of approximately 600 truckloads of aid daily, as stipulated in the ceasefire agreement.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that Israeli authorities are still preventing the entry of shelter materials intended for up to 1.3 million displaced people, despite the agency’s readiness to distribute them as soon as entry is permitted.

UNRWA called for the resumption of its full operations in the Gaza Strip and the resumption of the entry of vital supplies and essential services, which its staff continue to provide despite the risks.
