Dozens of families besieged in eastern Gaza amid heavy gunfire

Gaza – Al-Khabar Al Yemeni:

The Civil Defense Directorate in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday evening that a large number of displaced families in the Al-Sakhra building and neighboring houses east of the city were besieged under heavy fire from Israeli occupation forces.

The Civil Defense statement said that the besieged families are appealing for urgent transfer to safe areas amid continued firing, stressing that field teams are making urgent attempts to reach and evacuate civilians.

The statement noted that civil defense crews transported a woman and a man after they were wounded by occupation tank fire in the vicinity of the Sinafour junction in the Tuffah area east of Gaza.
