Saudi Arabia prevents ships from reaching Aden Port

Journalist Salah bin Laghbar revealed that Saudi Arabia prevented ships from reaching Aden Port in a punitive step against the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council, following the latter’s refusal to withdraw from Hadramout and Al-Mahrah.

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In a post on ‘X,’ Bin Laghbar wrote that Saudi Arabia is obstructing the arrival of ships at Aden Port, addressing the Saudis by saying, “You cannot withhold food and medicine from an entire people. Obstructing and preventing ships from reaching Aden Port is a foolish decision, and it will not be able to last.”

He continued: “The policy of collective punishment doesn’t break the will of people but rather increases their strength and transforms feelings of loyalty that prevailed for a long time into accumulated anger and hostility. Pressure through starving people reveals a hostile approach that is rejected morally and humanely, and it will find itself isolated in the face of rising global rejection.”

He added, confirming, “Be fully certain: you will not be able to continue on this path, and you will not succeed in forcing a people to relinquish their land, their decision, and their country in favor of any other party.”

He concluded by saying, “Aden Port is the lifeline for food and medicine for the south and the north. You will not succeed, nor will you break the will of a people with this aggression.”
