The Transitional Council confirms its forces in Eastern Yemen were targeted by Saudi airstrikes

The Emirates-loyal Transitional Council in southern Yemen confirmed on Tuesday that its forces were targeted by Saudi airstrikes in eastern Yemen. This comes in the wake of new reinforcements arriving at the oil plateau in Hadramout.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Platforms affiliated with the Council reported that Saudi fighter jets targeted the Al-Khasha’ah camp in Wadi Hadramout. Those platforms attempted to downplay the airstrikes by saying that they were smoke bombs.

Fighter jets are still flying over the Transitional Council’s camp there, according to the sources.
These developments point to a new escalation, coinciding with the continued failure to remove the Transitional Council’s factions and the Emirates sending new reinforcements to the oil plateau in eastern Yemen.
