The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation forces has risen to 70,942 martyrs since October 7, 2023.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Tuesday, that hospitals in the Strip received five martyrs (one newly deceased and four bodies recovered from under the rubble) and three wounded individuals in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry stated in its announcement that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to be unable to reach them.
The Ministry confirmed that since the ceasefire (October 11, 2025), the following figures have been recorded:
• Total martyrs: 406
• Total injuries: 1,118
• Total recovered: 653
The Ministry stated that the total number of martyrs and injuries resulting from the Israeli aggression has risen to 70,942 martyrs and 171,195 injuries since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry also noted that a citizen died as a result of a building collapse, bringing the total number of victims of building collapses caused by the storm to 16.
