In yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement, a Palestinian child was killed Sunday evening by Israeli occupation forces in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Near the Salah al-Din Mosque in the same neighborhood, 16-year-old Muhammad al-Sarhi was killed after being shot by Israeli forces.
With al-Sarhi’s death, the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip on Sunday rose to six, including a woman who died from wounds sustained in a previous bombing.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect last October, the Israeli army’s continued violations have resulted in the deaths of more than 580 Palestinians, in addition to hundreds of others sustaining injuries.
