The occupation continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement

The Israeli army killed a Palestinian man on Saturday, claiming he had crossed the Green Line. Meanwhile, three Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were wounded in the Gaza Strip as a result of indiscriminate gunfire targeting tents of displaced people in the central and northern parts of the Strip. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced the collection of 5,000 tons of solid waste in the Gaza Strip, while Doctors Without Borders suspended non-critical medical activities at a major hospital in southern Gaza following reports from patients and staff of armed men inside the facility.

As in previous days since the ceasefire, Israeli warplanes continued to launch airstrikes on various areas of Gaza City in the north and Khan Younis and Rafah in the south, coinciding with the demolition of remaining residential buildings east of Khan Younis.

Medical sources reported that indiscriminate gunfire targeting tents of displaced people resulted in the wounding of a Palestinian woman near the Austrian neighborhood south of Khan Younis, as well as a child who was shot in the head, and a man in the central Gaza Strip in the Mughraqa area south of Gaza City.

While the occupation continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement, it is also obstructing the entry of relief supplies and operational equipment for hospitals. The administration of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital warned that a shutdown is an “imminent danger,” exposing “the lives of hundreds of patients, the wounded, and medical staff to grave risks, especially in intensive care units, neonatal units, operating rooms, and other vital departments,” following the failure of the second main generator, after the first generator broke down three months ago.
