A Saudi warship approaches Aden

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Sources reported that a Saudi warship is approaching the vicinity of Aden city in southern Yemen, coinciding with escalating tension with the forces of the Emirati-backed Transitional Council.

The sources stated that the Saudi ship is positioned miles away in the Gulf of Aden, off the coast of Crater in the Sirah district.

They added that the warship provides protection for the residence of the advisor to the commander of Saudi forces, Falah Al-Shahrani, and monitors any naval movements by the Transitional Council towards the Al-Maashiq Palace, where Shaya Al-Zindani’s government resides. It is also tasked with evacuating any of them if necessary.

They pointed out that the ship is linked to reconnaissance drones that fly throughout the day in the skies of Aden and also monitors any Emirati attempts to smuggle weapons by sea to the Transitional Council.
