Concern is escalating within security circles in the Israeli occupation entity due to threats posed by Iranian missiles equipped with advanced “fission” warheads, with the potential for Iran to continue its retaliatory strikes deep into the entity.

According to the “Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper, this type of missile carries a warhead weighing hundreds of kilograms, containing about 20 small bombs designed to automatically separate and disperse when the missile reaches an altitude of approximately 7 kilometers above the target.
It continued: “The bombs show an evolution in their distribution, covering a wide area of up to 8 square kilometers, despite their inaccuracy in hitting.”
Although these bombs do not have the capability to penetrate fortified military bases, their great danger lies in their ability to cause widespread human casualties and material damage in open areas, according to the newspaper.
It describes their field effect as similar to upgraded versions of the “Qassam” missiles previously launched by the Hamas movement, but in a more complex ballistic form regarding interception.
