The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,126 martyrs and 171,809 wounded. The ministry said in a statement that hospitals in the Strip received three martyrs in the past 24 hours, including one newly identified victim and two bodies recovered from under the rubble, in addition to four wounded.
It clarified that the death toll from Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10 has risen to 641 martyrs and 1,711 wounded.
Regarding Israeli attacks in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Presidency warned of the escalation of what it described as Israeli “violence and terrorism” in the West Bank, considering that international silence has encouraged the continuation of attacks against Palestinians.
