Larijani: Achieving security in the Strait of Hormuz is unlikely amid American-Israeli aggression

Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, warned of the impossibility of achieving security in the Strait of Hormuz amidst the war waged by the US and Israel in the region.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Larijani said in a post on the X platform, commenting on the statements of French President Emmanuel Macron regarding a European defensive mission to reopen the strait and send frigates to the Red Sea, that achieving security in the strait is unlikely amidst the escalating fire of war.

He added that security will not be achieved, especially if it is designed by parties that have not been far from supporting the war and contributing to fueling it.

Macron had announced that France is preparing a defensive mission to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and will send two frigates to the Red Sea.
