China confirms the passage of the first Emirati oil shipment through Hormuz after implementing Iran’s conditions

China confirmed on Monday the passage of the first oil shipment through the Strait of Hormuz.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Chinese platforms reported that Iranian forces granted the oil tanker “Karachi” a license to cross the important strait after completing its procedures. The tanker carries an oil shipment from Abu Dhabi and is heading to Pakistan.

According to the platform, the ship was permitted to pass after it fulfilled Iran’s conditions for transit by conducting transactions in the Chinese Yuan.

The “Karachi” is the first ship to cross the Strait of Hormuz since Iran’s decision to close it in response to the American-Israeli aggression.

The Revolutionary Guard had designated the Yuan as the currency for commercial transactions in exchange for passage.

Iran’s choice of the Yuan is among measures aimed at weakening the US dollar, which has continued to dominate commercial transactions around the world.
