The Palestine Information Center “Moati” revealed an unprecedented escalation in the pace of Israeli violations in the West Bank since the beginning of 2026, in light of the widening scope of the attacks and the diversity of their tools between killing, arrest and systematic restrictions. The center stated, in a report issued today, Sunday, that the occupation forces and its settlers carried out 21,166 violations, including 1,286 attacks committed by the settlers, which reflects a remarkable rise in the level of organized violence against the Palestinians. The report indicated that these violations resulted in the death of 37 Palestinians, and the injury of 701 others, as a result of shooting and direct attacks, in an indication of the continued use of force against civilians. In a related context, “Moati” documented 2,450 arrests, along with 114 cases of deportation, as part of a policy targeting activists and youth, and is part of attempts to empty the land of its indigenous inhabitants. On the field level, the occupation forces carried out 3,824 incursions and 3,467 home raids, including intimidation and direct attacks, in addition to the registration of 305 cases of detention. Violations also affected the property and civil infrastructure, with 587 cases of destruction and 1,505 confiscation cases, as well as 85 house seizures, and 95 demolitions, reflecting a systematic escalation in the country. With regard to freedom of movement, the occupation imposed severe restrictions on 3,394 cases of narrowing of the barriers, and 1,308 cases of closure, which caused partial paralysis in the daily lives of citizens. The report recorded 820 shootings, in a dangerous indication of the direct threat to the lives of civilians, in parallel with documenting 129 violations of the rights of Islamic sanctities, and 15 cases of disruption to the educational process. Moati indicated that these attacks led to 707 cases of forced displacement among the residents, as a result of repeated attacks and the escalation of risks to their lives and property. The report emphasized that what the West Bank has witnessed since the beginning of the year reflects a systematic policy targeting humans, land and sanctities, amid a noticeable escalation in settlers’ attacks, exacerbating the complexity of the field scene. The center concluded by emphasizing that these indicators require urgent action to stop the continuous violations and put an end to the policies that undermine the various elements of Palestinian life.
