Hebrew media: Our forces are exposed to Hezbollah… And we don’t want to return to the Lebanese quagmire

Hebrew media reported that occupation forces are facing significant challenges on the southern Lebanon front, amid what they described as the exposure of their movements to Hezbollah, which takes advantage of the terrain’s nature to carry out effective attacks.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

“Channel 14” stated that Israeli forces are in constant motion and exposed, noting that Hezbollah uses anti-tank missiles and rockets and attack drones to target them, posing a major challenge, especially given the difficulty of spotting those launching anti-tank missiles.

The channel added that the past 24 hours witnessed three incidents in southern Lebanon that resulted in a number of injuries, some in serious condition, among Israeli forces. It also quoted a former official in the Shin Bet about a lack of combat management despite the use of various military means.

In context, Hebrew media indicated that the missiles launched by Hezbollah make soldiers “like ducks in a shooting range,” while “Channel 12” used the term “Lebanese quagmire,” referring to fears of becoming entangled once again in a prolonged war inside Lebanese territory.

This comes as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, “Hezbollah,” continues to confront Israeli incursions into southern villages, causing human and material losses in the occupation forces.

Earlier, the Israeli army spokesman announced the death of one soldier and the injury of another in battles in southern Lebanon following a tank being targeted by an anti-armor missile before an additional force was subjected to similar attacks during evacuation operations, leading to injuries among several soldiers, some critically.
