Iran approves a plan to manage the Strait of Hormuz and prevent the passage of vessels of the aggression countries

The Iranian Supreme National Security Council approved, on Monday, a plan for managing the Strait of Hormuz, which includes imposing restrictions on the passage of forces and vessels of the aggression countries through the strategic strait.

According to what the Fars News Agency quoted from a member of the council, the plan includes imposing transit fees, organizing security arrangements and maritime navigation safety, in addition to addressing environmental aspects and establishing financial and customs systems specific to the strait.

The plan stipulates activating Iranian sovereignty through the armed forces, including preventing the passage of American forces and forces of the Zionist entity, along with countries participating in the unilateral sanctions imposed on Iran.

The plan also includes cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman in building a legal framework regulating these procedures related to managing the strait.
