Hezbollah announced that its military media had released footage documenting the downing of an Israeli Hermes 450 drone in the skies of the town of Ainata in southern Lebanon, using a surface-to-air missile.

The party indicated that this operation comes after the downing of a drone of the same model previously in the skies of Bint Jbeil, within the context of ongoing operations on the southern front.
It affirmed that these operations come in response to Israeli attacks, within the framework of what it described as a “legitimate response” to the military escalation, noting the continued targeting of Israeli army sites and vehicles.
