Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, marking the 178th consecutive day of violations, through artillery shelling and gunfire in various areas of the Strip.
A local source reported that Israeli military vehicles fired heavily east of Gaza City, coinciding with artillery shelling.
The source added that Israeli artillery targeted the eastern part of the Zeitoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
Israeli artillery also shelled the eastern part of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
On Monday evening, 10 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the eastern part of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Since October 10, Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through artillery and airstrikes, gunfire from military vehicles and naval vessels, and the demolition of buildings and civilian infrastructure in various parts of the Strip.
