Gaza: Coronavirus cases rise to 10 after a new case is recorded

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced Monday evening the registration of a new case of COVID-19, raising the total number of cases in the Strip to 10.

In a brief press statement, the Ministry said, “Laboratory results conducted by the Central Laboratory of the Ministry of Health confirmed a new case of COVID-19 among those quarantined in the Gaza Strip.”

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the Strip to 10, all of whom are in stable condition, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip had previously stated that it is facing a severe crisis due to dwindling supplies of medicines, medical equipment, personal protective equipment, laboratory tests, and ventilators, making its response to the coronavirus outbreak even more critical.
