The Gaza Ministry of Health reported on Saturday that eight Palestinians were killed (seven new fatalities and one whose body was recovered) and 24 were wounded in the past 48 hours.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.
The ministry noted that since the ceasefire on October 11, 2023, 773 Palestinians have been killed and 2,171 wounded, while the bodies of 761 have been recovered.
The ministry also announced that the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,549, with 172,274 wounded.
