Al-Houthi reveals European offers

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen, “the Houthis,” Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, said that the Islamic nation is a victim of Zionist targeting, which has gone so far as to criminalize any criticism of Israeli crimes, suppress any voice opposing the American and Israeli project, and prevent Quranic verses from school curricula.

Al-Houthi, in a speech on the anniversary of the launch of “Al-Sarkha”—the movement’s slogan—criticized Arab regimes and leaders for adopting political, partisan, sectarian, and ideological orientations to serve the Zionist project and distort the Palestinian resistance.

He added, “Despite the great steadfastness in the Gaza Strip, those forces within the nation deal with it by belittling, weakening, distorting, and destroying it.”

Al-Houthi revealed that their movement had received offers to abandon their slogan and orientation, saying, “In 2007, we received European offers to abandon our orientation and position in exchange for enabling us to control all state apparatuses, but we refused.”

Al-Houthi criticized religious movements that changed their positions, principles, and policies after coming to power.
