The spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, stated that the Israeli occupation is employing a policy of direct targeting using explosive bullets, resulting in a rise in the number of martyrs and wounded due to the severe injuries inflicted on unarmed civilians.
In a press statement, al-Qudra added, “In addition to the extensive use of unidentified gas canisters, dozens of Palestinians have suffered from exhaustion, convulsions, vomiting, coughing, and rapid heartbeats.” He called on international bodies to investigate and reveal the nature of these canisters.
He urged the international community, with all its bodies and organizations, to condemn the occupation’s racism and its violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention through its excessive use of force against unarmed civilians, its repeated targeting of paramedics, ambulances, and journalists, and its deliberate obstruction of their work.
