Hebrew report: The occupation is belatedly grasping the danger of Hezbollah’s drones

A Hebrew report stated that the authorities of the occupation entity have begun, belatedly, to grasp the scale of the threat posed by Hezbollah’s drones, which have been used to target soldiers, military vehicles, and tanks during recent field developments.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The channel mentioned that the security system and military industries in “Israel” have started gathering information and conducting official assessments regarding mechanisms to deal with this type of threat, following the launch of the recent ground battle, indicating that the combat experience has revealed gaps in readiness to confront this relatively advanced weapon.

The coverage pointed out that suicide drones have become one of the most prominent threat elements on the battlefield due to their ability to reach sensitive military targets with precision and at a relatively low cost compared to conventional weapons, which has prompted the relevant authorities to re-evaluate surveillance, jamming, and air defense systems.

In the same context, the channel quoted a senior Lebanese security official as saying that suicide drones constituted a “major surprise” on the battlefield.

He confirmed that many parties were not sufficiently prepared to confront this type of attack and that measures to counter them began to be taken gradually after the outbreak of the war.

The official added, as reported by the channel, that the nature of these drones, their ease of use, and their rapid deployment in the field have made them an influential element in changing some confrontation tactics, pushing the concerned parties to work on developing more effective defensive tools to deal with them in the future.

The channel concluded by indicating that recent developments have pushed the security establishment to accelerate research and development programs for counter-drone systems in an attempt to reduce their impact in any potential future confrontations.
