The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that 42 people had been killed in the past 24 hours as a result of the Israeli aggression, bringing the total number of martyrs to 2,576, in addition to 7,962 wounded since March 2.
The ministry’s latest update stated that the total cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon from March 2 to April 29 has reached 2,576 martyrs and 7,962 wounded.
A ten-day ceasefire began on April 17 and was later extended until May 17, but Israel violates it daily with deadly shelling and widespread bombing of homes in dozens of villages in southern Lebanon.
