The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen, while Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement that went into effect last October.
The Ministry of Health stated that the number of martyrs has risen to 832 since the ceasefire, and the number of wounded has increased to 2,354. However, the figures remain provisional as civil defense teams are unable to reach victims trapped under the rubble. They have recovered 767 bodies since last October.
According to the same source, health authorities recorded two additional martyrs and nine wounded. These statistics bring the total number of victims since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023 to 72,612 martyrs and 172,457 wounded.
In contrast, the attacks by the Zionist occupation forces and settlers against civilians in Palestine continue. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said that the Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 1,637 attacks during the past month of April, in continuation of systematic terrorism against the Palestinian people, their lands and properties.
