After countries allied with America… Shipping companies boycott the American operation in Hormuz

International shipping companies acknowledged on Thursday that they are boycotting the American project to open Hormuz, following the disaster the strait witnessed due to the recent escalation.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The American network “CNN” quoted international shipping companies as saying that they have informed ships stationed in the Gulf not to cross Hormuz, stressing the need to provide guarantees for safe passage.

The maritime organization and the British Maritime Trade Operations authority described navigation in the strait as very critical.

These developments come just two days after America announced a new operation to open the strait, before suspending it after 48 hours.

The strait witnessed the fiercest confrontations as American forces attempted to use oil and commercial cargo ships in an attempt to breach the strait by deploying military teams on board.

The ships were subjected to attacks, resulting in damage and fires on approximately four of them.

In the same context, the American network confirmed the failure of the American operation to open Hormuz and free the ships.

CNN quoted American officials as confirming that approximately 1,600 ships remain stuck in the surrounding area, along with about 20,000 sailors.

The shipping companies’ decision to boycott the American recklessness comes after countries allied with America announced their withdrawal from participating in the project to open Hormuz.

South Korea and Japan expressed their refusal to engage in the new escalation.

Both allies of America had expressed their desire to participate in the new American operation “Project Freedom” before backtracking on their stance in light of the operation’s setback and the flames of confrontation extending to ships belonging to both of them.
