Khatam Al-Anbiya Headquarters: Iran announces a response to American aggression by targeting naval vessels east of the Strait of Hormuz

The Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced on Friday that American forces targeted an Iranian oil tanker and another ship while they were entering the Strait of Hormuz, indicating that the attacks were carried out in coordination with “countries in the region.”

The Iranian military headquarters added that the American attacks targeted civilian areas on the coasts of Bandar Khamir and Sirik, in addition to Qeshm Island, affirming that Iranian forces responded “immediately” by targeting American naval vessels east of the Strait of Hormuz and south of Chabahar.

The Khatam Al-Anbiya headquarters stressed that Iran “will respond forcefully and without hesitation to any aggression or transgression” amid escalating military tension in the region.
