The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the total number of casualties admitted to Gaza hospitals in the past 48 hours was 5 martyrs (including 4 newly killed martyrs and 1 martyr whose body was recovered from under the rubble), and 15 injuries.
The Ministry stated in its report that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to be unable to reach them.
The Ministry confirmed that since the ceasefire (October 11, 2023), the totals are:
• Total martyrs: 850
• Total injuries: 2,433
• Total recovered: 770
The Ministry added: “The total number of martyrs and injuries resulting from the Israeli aggression has risen to 72,736 martyrs and 172,535 injuries since October 7, 2023.”
