Hezbollah releases footage of targeting an occupation “Heron 1” drone over the Lebanese Bekaa

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) released video footage on Saturday documenting the operation targeting an occupation “Heron 1” drone while it was flying over the Bekaa area in eastern Lebanon.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The footage showed the targeting of the drone, which the party said was flying at an altitude of about 7 kilometers over the Lebanese Bekaa.

The release of the footage comes after the party announced last Thursday that it had shot down an Israeli army “Heron 1” drone in the skies of the Nahlah area in the Bekaa, using what it described as a “qualitative” missile.

Hezbollah affirmed that these operations come within the framework of defending Lebanon and its people and in response to what it described as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement and the aggressions that targeted villages in the south of the country, resulting in civilian casualties, including dead and wounded.

The party indicated that the operation falls within the efforts to confront the ongoing Israeli violations and aggressions on Lebanese airspace.
