Iran warns America that any move in Hormuz will be met with a decisive response

The “Khatam Al-Anbiya” Central Headquarters affirmed that the Strait of Hormuz is under full Iranian sovereignty, warning that any American intervention in this vital waterway will be met with a swift and decisive response.

The headquarters stressed in a statement on Thursday that the Strait of Hormuz “is not a playground for the US,” but rather an Iranian sovereign zone, affirming that the security and stability of this passage constitute a red line for the armed forces.

It explained that all oil tankers and commercial ships are obliged to adhere to the route designated by Iran to ensure safe passage, warning that any deviation from the routes or disregard for Iranian navigation protocols will be met with immediate and firm measures that jeopardize the security of violating ships.

The statement added that any American intervention or move considered sabotage in the Strait of Hormuz will be classified as a direct threat to Iranian sovereignty and will be met with a swift and decisive response from the armed forces.

It also considered that the continued flight of American fighter jets, whether manned or unmanned, over the Strait of Hormuz contributes to destabilizing security and threatening stability in the region.

The headquarters concluded by affirming that Iran, in the framework of preserving its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, will not hesitate to take all necessary measures “to crush any violation or aggression” by American forces and their allies.
