Yemeni Suppression of a Third Saudi Front on the Western Coast

Yemeni forces managed on Sunday to suppress a third Saudi front on the country’s western coast. This comes amid the Kingdom’s attempts to divert attention away from the main target by opening fronts internally.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Saudi Arabia acknowledged losing the “Hays” battle on the southern outskirts of Hodeidah governorate.

The Saudi journalist Ali Al-Asiri, affiliated with intelligence, stated that those he described as the “Houthis” seized control of positions belonging to his country’s factions known as the “Tihami factions,” in addition to more than 30 killed and wounded among those factions.

Saudi Arabia had attempted in recent hours to activate the western coast front. Clashes described as violent erupted for the first time on the outskirts of the city of Hays.

The activation of the western coast front is part of a Saudi path that began weeks ago with Sana’a’s hinting at the military option. Saudi Arabia attempted to ignite the Al-Dhale’ front in the south and Al-Jawf in the north before reaching Hays in the west.

The suppression of the front reflects the extent of Sana’a’s readiness for any potential Saudi reactions by moving its factions, especially as Yemen prepares for a new phase of confrontations with Saudi Arabia.
