The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that five Palestinians were killed and seven wounded in the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.
In its daily statistical report, the Ministry explained that three of the dead were killed in the past 24 hours, while the bodies of two others were recovered from under the rubble.
The Ministry noted that since the ceasefire on October 11, the death toll has reached 1,072, with 3,463 injuries and 799 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
The Ministry stated that the total number of casualties from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,098 dead and 173,571 wounded.
The Ministry added that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the field conditions.
